The dinners offer a wonderful opportunity to meet new people while experiencing high quality Virginia wines paired with exquisite dishes. Dinners are held on Saturday evening, with doors opening at 6:30pm. Reception is from 6:30 until 7:00pm, where guests can mingle throughout the tasting room and deck while enjoying aperitif wine and passed appetizers. Guests are seated around 7:00pm to enjoy four more courses paired with Naked Mountain wines. Each course and wine will be addressed by our staff. After the dessert course the evening concludes with a visit from Chef Eric. At this time guests are free to ask Chef Eric questions about the menu, recipes or just to pay a complement! |

The dining area seats 40 people, so make your reservations early! Adults over 21 only please. Smart casual dress requested. Cancellations must be made by the Sunday prior to the event.
All wines served at the dinners are available for sale throughout the evening. After leaving his pre-med studies at the University of Vermont, Eric moved to California to attend culinary school in San Francisco. Working in a downtown restaurant and attending school full time gave Eric a great foundation for his cooking career. In the late 1980’s, the need to be back on the east coast was once again important, so a position at The Inn at Little Washington was accepted, a position he held for 2 1/2 years. After opening the Bleu Rock Inn and a stint at the Ashby Inn , Eric moved to Charlottesville, where Eric Stamer Catering was started. A day trip in 1995 to Staunton convinced him that Staunton was where he wanted to settle. As well as being a full service caterer, Eric Stamer Catering has establish itself as the premier caterer in the Shenandoah Valley. During the 1990’s, Naked Mountain partnered with a neighboring Virginia winery and hosted a semi-annual Sampler. Eric catered these for Naked Mountain until the event was discontinued in 1999. We have successfully offered our lasagna lunch during January and February each winter for almost two decades. Eric’s lasagna is awesome, both his house-made sausage version and his vegetable version. We have been fortunate to have Eric cater our winemaker dinners for about 17 years now. We continue this symbiotic relationship in 2010, and have scheduled winemaker dinners throughout the year. Please come join us and enjoy a delightful dinner in our lovely setting. |

All dinners are on Saturday evening commencing at 6:30pm. Reservations are required as seating is limited.
Cancellations must be made no later than the Sunday before the scheduled dinner.
